How To Apply

**Bishop Grimes is currently accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year!**

Step 1: Student Readiness and Scholarship Eligibility Assessment

We invite all interested candidates to register for our Entrance/Scholarship Assessment.  Assessment results inform our scholarship awards process.  Last year, Bishop Grimes Junior/Senior High School offered over $96,000 in academic scholarships alone to students.

Students must register for the Entrance/Scholarship Assessment by either filling out the online registration form or by contacting Sue Collins, our Director of Admissions & Enrollment, via phone at (315) 314-7157 or email at scollins@syrdiocese.org.

You may also apply online by clicking the “Apply to Bishop Grimes” button on the left side of this page, or download and submit a paper Application for Admission as a first step.  All necessary paper forms are available for download at the bottom of this page.  Bishop Grimes will not accept the application fee until the student has demonstrated readiness per the Entrance/Scholarship Exam.

Step 2: Submitting your Application for Admission

Pursuant to the satisfactory completion of the Entrance/Scholarship Exam, we will invite the candidate and his/her family to complete an Application for Admission. With your application, please be sure to include all of the application checklist documents and return them via mail or e-mail, along with a non-refundable application fee of $75.00, to the attention of our Director of Admissions & Enrollment, Mrs. Sue Collins (scollins@syrdiocese.org). Apply online by clicking the “Apply to Bishop Grimes” button on the left side of this page.

Step 3: Candidate Interview

Pursuant to a positive review of your application, the candidate will be contacted for a formal admissions interview.

Step 4: Receive our Decision Letter, Enrollment, and Registration

Accepted applicants will receive a welcome packet with enrollment documents and a tuition agreement to complete, sign and return before the enrollment and registration deadline. Please note that all offers of enrollment/acceptance are on a conditional/probationary basis pending review of final grade reports, behavior reports, and attendance records.

Step 5: Financial Aid and Tuition Assistance

All accepted candidates are welcome to submit an application for financial aid.  Bishop Grimes Junior/Senior High School, in partnership with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse, is committed to providing an outstanding and affordable education to all those interested in joining our community.  In accordance with this mission, Bishop Grimes and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse offered over $400,000 in tuition assistance to our families for the 2018-2019 school year alone.

Applications for financial aid (FACTS) will be available soon. The financial aid application process is separate from the admissions application.

The FACTS application must be completed online by clicking here. Bishop Grimes’ Institution ID is 7845.
