Tuition Rates for 2018-2019

Parishioner Rates – The parishioner rate applies to families registered as members of a Roman Catholic parish. All affiliations are verified with the Pastor of the church designated on the enrollment form.

Non-Parishioner Rates – The non-parishioner rate applies to families NOT registered as members of a Roman Catholic parish.

International & Foreign Exchange Students – Please contact the Main Office (315-437-0356) for 2018-2019 tuition rates.
Application/Reapplication Fee – $75 per student due with submission of application or reapplication. This fee is non-refundable.

Activity/Participation Fee – $450 per students, which applies to all Bishop Grimes students.

The 2018-2019 fee of $450 will cover student costs for basic art supplies, athletic fees, musical and drama fees, class retreats, technology fees, testing fees (excluding AP exams), student textbooks/workbooks, and Bishop Grimes Parent Organization (BGPO) dues. This activity/participation fee eliminates the need to request activity/registration fees throughout the year for most student activities.

The activity/participation fee may be bundled within a family’s tuition payment plan, but it will not be billed separately. Families will be billed for the 2018-2019 tuition less any assistance received, plus the activity/participation fee. The activity/participation fee is non-refundable.

 

SMART Tuition

Bishop Grimes uses SMART Tuition as its tuition billing system. All families must return a completed SMART Tuition form regardless of whether or not the family is applying for tuition assistance. A SMART Tuition Form indicating a tuition payment plan for the 2018-2019 school year as well as a signed Tuition Policy Form must be submitted with the student’s application or re-application form.

 

FACTS & Tuition Assistance Program (TAP A)

Bishop Grimes and the Catholic School Office of the Diocese of Syracuse use a completed FACTS online application to make determinations regarding tuition assistance based on financial need. FACTS applications must be completed online. Bishop Grimes’ FACTS institution ID is 7845. If a family is in need of assistance or guidance in filling out the FACTS Application, please call Mrs. Lynn Fratangelo, Tuition Accounts Manager, in Bishop Grimes’ Tuition Accounts Office (315-437-0356).

Diocesan tuition assistance for Catholic school education is funded by the Hope Appeal.  It is based on financial need. FACTS applications must be completed and submitted online. Financial aid must be submitted and completed by February 15, 2018 at the latest for consideration for financial aid awards for the 2018-2019 school year.

 

Additional Scholarships and Tuition Assistance Programs

There may be assistance available based upon documented financial need and scholastic achievement.  Please note that in the FACTS application there is an opportunity to explain special circumstances and/or needs that the numbers may not readily show. If you need further assistance, please contact Mrs. Lynn Frantangelo in the Tuition Accounts Office (315-437-0356) to discuss individual circumstances that may also need to be brought to the attention of the school’s Finance Committee.
